I must be an idiot but I always thought that when you’re injured you’re supposed to shorten up the points. Apparently not. By the way, Murray didn’t seem injured at all and he can thank Troicki who simply gave him the match.

Famous French DJ Bob Sinclar was the special guest at “Children’s Day at Roland Garros” on Saturday 21 May. For over two hours, the court Philippe Chatrier turned into a giant “musical creation” of tennis matches!

Rafael Nadal, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Arnaud Clément, Arevane Rezai, Amélie Mauresmo, special guest Teddy Riner and many more, joined forces to entertain thousands of families and children.

Bob Sinclar, a tennis aficionada, also showed off his skills opposite Michaël Llodra and Novak Djokovic.

Proceeds of the event will go to Yannick Noah’s “Fête le Mur” and “Tennis en liberté”, led by Isabelle Demongeot.

In this Tennis Buzz #3, a look at Soderling and Rafter‘s wins in Bercy and Sydney.

It’s a well deserved victory for Soderling, who defeated Simon, Wawrinka, Roddick, Llodra and Monfils to capture his first Masters 1000 title.

“I don’t have a very good record in finals, and especially here in Paris, but I think a final is that one match you really want to win. I’m really happy that I played well today, and now I’m here winning the title. When I won that last point, I just felt so happy and I felt so relieved. I really wanted to win this match so much.”

Following his win, he reached a career high number 4 ranking.
