After a two-year hiatus, adidas relaunches one of their most iconic sneaker silhouettes of all time, the Stan Smith.
The classic tennis shoe — the first to feature an all-leather upper — was first known as the adidas Robert Haillet before tennis legend Stan Smith signed on to front the shoe.

On September 4, Barneys Madison Avenue will release the shoe as adidas’s exclusive retail partner during New York Fashion Week. Later on, the shoe will debut during London Fashion Week at Dover Street Market, Paris Fashion Week at colette, Berlin Art Week at Andreas Murkudis, and Dover Street Market Ginza in Tokyo.

Following the limited launch, the Stan Smith will receive a wider release in 2014.
