Fila announced today the debut of a special apparel and accessory collection to honor the retiring Kim Clijsters as she plays the last Grand Slam events of her career.

“We have been honored to have Kim as a member of our Fila family for so many years,” said Gene Yoon, Chairman of Fila Korea.

“She has been an amazing ambassador for the brand, and like many of her fans, we are sad to see her retire from tennis. The collection that Kim will debut at Wimbledon echoes the champion that she is, and we hope she enjoys every moment of the last Grand Slam appearances of her illustrious tennis career.”

The collection for Wimbledon consists of a selection of Kim’s favorite Fila tennis silhouettes. Clijsters will wear a short sleeve v-neck cap sleeve top with breathable air mesh side panels or sleeveless top.
The v-neck has metallic gold trim at the neck and piping on the front side panels while the sleeveless features the trim on the arm — vertically on the side panels as well as two color blocked lines on the hip. Both styles are classic Fila silhouettes and will be paired with a matching white skort with subtle metallic gold piping across the hip.

“It means so much to me that Fila developed this commemorative collection in honor of my retirement. Wimbledon has been an important place for me since I was very young, and it was where I played my first exhibition before I officially returned to tennis in 2009. It is only fitting that I debut this collection on Centre Court.”

The limited edition collection will be available at select specialty tennis retail stores around the country and on

The Evian ball boy will set clues of his whereabouts every day between 22-25 June on Twitter @evian_uk and on Facebook. First person who checks in wins a Maria Sharapova signed tennis ball, the next 10 gets an exclusive evian T-shirt, and everyone else gets entered into a draw to win Wimbledon VIP tickets.

Laura Pope, Evian brand manager, said: “The Evian Ball Hunt is just one part of our summer campaign to bring the Evian ‘live young’ spirit and Wimbledon partnership to life.”

“In SW19 there will be a ‘live young’ experience for tennis fans in the Wimbledon ticket queue, and inside the grounds we will have an Evian Café and our legendary VIP Live Young Suite.”

Fans travelling to the Championships from Wimbledon and Southfields underground stations will be given Evian samples by brand ambassadors. People waiting or camping in the world famous Wimbledon queue will get the chance to enter Evian’s pink shipping container, complete with a ping pong table, umpire, photo competition and strawberry and cream milkshakes.

Inside the Wimbledon grounds, Evian’s Live Young Suite will host celebrities and press. Inside, guests can enjoy games like table tennis and a retro tennis themed photo corner designed to bring out the inner child in everyone.

The spots will be shown in the run-up to Wimbledon coverage, which begins on Monday, and runs throughout the tournament, which ends on 8 July.

Watch Tennis Australia interview with Lleyton Hewitt as he shares his memories of his Wimbledon triumph in 2002.

Bad draw this year for Hewitt, but perhaps one last chance to play on Centre Court: he will meet 5th seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the first round.
