2010 Paris Bercy Masters: quarterfinals photo recap
Robin Soderling defeats Andy Roddick 7-5 6-4:
Roddick beat Soderling twice this year (in Indian Wells and Cincinnati) but this time he was completely outplayed by Soderling and was dominated in every area of the game. The Swede served better, returned better, his groundstrokes were more accurate and powerful.
Red card to the Bercy crowd, who booed Soderling when he said he loves to play in Paris. Just stupid.
Michael Llodra defeats Nikolay Davydenko 7-5 6-1:
Bad start for Llodra: Davydenko leads 4-2 after only 20 minutes.
But Mika fights back, attacks the net and produces some spectacular serve and volley game. Another superb performance for Llodra after his victory over Djokovic the day before.
Magnus Norman, Soderling’s coach, watching his protege’s future opponent:

Mansour Bahrami and Guy Forget:
Roger Federer defeats Jurgen Melzer 6-4 6-3:
Easy win for Federer who reaches the Bercy semifinals for the first time in his career.
Gael Monfils defeats Andy Murray 6-2 2-6 6-3:
So, there will be two French players in semifinals of a Masters for the first time since 2002!
