This signature model made for 2-time Wimbledon champion Stefan Edberg was first released in 1986. An extensive range of Edberg clothing and footwear was produced over the years.
The Edberg tennis shoe was made in France and had some great details like the signature Edberg logo on the perforated tongue, the green/yellow colorway and the green eyelets.

Below, a picture of the original adidas Edberg tennis shoes worn by the Swede when he won the 1988 Singles Championship (I took this picture at the Wimbledon museum where plenty of players memorabilia is exposed, read more here):

Nike Air Tech Challenge II Wimbledon

We previewed them a few days ago, the Nike Air Tech Challenge II Wimbledon are now for sale at select European retailers.

A tribute to Andre Agassi’s 1992 Wimbledon title, the shoe is rounded off with a white sole with a visible air unit, ’tennis ball green’ accents to the outsole, gold lining and a retro Nike Tennis pendant to the laces.

Federer Wimbledon 2014 shoes

17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer will begin his chase for his eight Wimbledon title in the 2014 tournament that starts on Monday. Federer recently revealed his sneakers for the upcoming matches, a Nike Zoom Vapor 9.5 Tour “Wimbledon” PE.

Personalization comes in the form of his RF signature on the mid-foot and the Wimbledon trophy stamped with “7” celebrating his previous wins on the heels.

Maria Sharapova Wimbledon collection

Maria Sharapova returns to London celebrating her Roland Garros victory and the 10-year anniversary of her maiden win at Wimbledon. She will wear a unique Nike Premier Maria Dress.

Sharapova’s footwear choice is a white and gold NikeiD version of the Nike Zoom Vapor 9 Tour.

Eugenie Bouchard and Madison Keys will be wearing the Maria Team collection of Nike Tennis apparel that Sharapova personally helped to develop. The collection features the Nike Premier Maria Skirt that will be paired with the Nike Premier Maria Tank.
