Reigning champion Maria Sharapova returns to Paris to defend her title wearing a dress that showcases the quintessentially French Breton stripe in a stylish and performance-driven silhouette.
During practice, Maria will wear the NikeCourt French Stripe Tank and Nike Ace Court Shorts.
Items from the summer 2015 NikeCourt collection will be available at select Nike retailers and on nike.com/niketennis beginning May 20.
I bought a bag of Sugarpova at Roland Garros last year, and totally forgot about it. I guess it’s more than time for me to taste it!
First, a look at the package:
The overall look is full of energy and fun. Psychedelic lips, the primary design element on each package, change color and pattern, depending on the flavour. Each flavour is named after an adjective, including Quirky, Sporty, Cheeky… mine is Flirty Sour.
The logo and design brand suit Maria Sharapova‘s sweetheart-like image quite well.

Sharapova won two of their first three encounters, and since then, she has won only 3 sets in 15 matches against Serena! Their most disputed match was their semifinal in Melbourne 10 years ago, that Serena won 2-6 7-5 8-6. That match was featured in Steve Flink’s book, The greatest matches of all time:
The two most ferocious female competitors of their era clashed on the had courts of Melbourne in a blockbuster of a battle that was suspenseful, hard fought and compelling. Both players produced tennis that boggled the minds and raised the spirits of an exhilarated audience.
So, epic battle or routine win? Serena or Maria? Who do you think will win? Please share your thoughts.
