Monte-Carlo champion Stanislas Wawrinka easily won the first set 6-1 and it looked like it would be an easy match from there on in, but the world number 70 had other ideas and he won the next two sets 6-2 6-4 to reach the next round where he’ll face Feliciano Lopez.
