Need a break between two tennis matches at Roland Garros? Pay a visit to Roland Garros tennis museum (also called Tenniseum), situated near Gate B. It is open to the public free of charge from 10am to 7pm during the tournament.

Tennis museum at Roland Garros

The museum was created in 2003, I first visited it in 2005 or 2006 but haven’t since.
The permanent exhibition area, that has been totally revamped last year, features some player memorabilia, a few videos as well as some infos about tennis history and the future Roland Garros expansion.

In honor of the 30th anniversary of the brand’s Arthur Ashe collection, Le Coq Sportif has unveiled a tribute video to the former 3-time Grand Slam champion.
Narrated by former Roland Garros champion Yannick Noah, the clip tells the story of Ashe’s triumph over early struggles to emerge as the number 1 tennis player in the world.

The Spring 2012 collection from French brand Le Coq Sportif bring two vintage silhouettes (Arthur Ashe & Milos Vintage) alongside their new model The Dax.

The Arthur Ashe model consists of a full leather upper with perforation detailing on the side panels for added breathability. The shoe is branded with the original Le Coq Sportif practice logo on the heel and the Arthur Ashe signature on the quarter to give it the stamp of a legend.

All three styles are in stock now at London’s Foot Patrol.
