Nadal Rogers Cup outfit

Rafael Nadal made his return to competition in Montreal on Wednesday, a few weeks after his semifinal lost to Roger Federer in Wimbledon.
In the absence of Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, Nadal will be the favourite for the title, one year after his victory over Stefanos Tsitsipas in Toronto last year.
He has already won the Rogers Cup trophy four times, twice in Toronto (2008, 2018) and twice in Montreal (2005, 2013), and will be looking to add a record 35th Masters 1000 event as well as gain confidence for the US Open.

Here’s a look at Rafa’s outfit for the Canadian Open, a kit he’ll also wear in Cincinnati next week (if he decides to play):

Diego Schwartzman, Los Cabos 2019

Third seed Diego Schwartzman only dropped one set en route to his third career title, his first on hard courts. After a bye in the first round, he defeated both Ernests Gulbis and Mikhail Kukushkin in straight sets to reach the semifinal where he met fellow countryman and number 2 seed Guido Pella. He triumphed in the all-Argentine battle, coming out on top 6-3 3-6 6-1 to reach the final.
He then saved three set points in the final to defeat Taylor Fritz 7-6 6-3. The young American who knocked out number one seed Fabio Fognini in the semifinal was playing his third final of the year (win over Querrey in Eastbourne, loss to De Minaur in Atlanta).

“This feels really great because I’ll take a lot of confidence with me for the next tournaments,” said Schwartzman. “It was really important for me to come here and win big matches against the big guys. The title is like the cherry on top for me.”

In the doubles draw, Romain Arneodo and Hugo Nys saved two championship points to defeat top seeds Dominic Inglot and Austin Krajicek 7-5 5-7 16-14 and claim their first doubles title.
