Pablo Andujar upset fellow Spaniard David Ferrer, to reach the Barcelona Open final. Winner of three tournaments (Casablanca in 2011 and 2012, Gstaad in 2014) – Andujar will face Kei Nishikori in the final. David Ferrer reached the final in Barcelona four times in the past, losing each time to Rafael Nadal.
