Introducing Lacoste LT12 racquet

French tennis great René Lacoste invented the polo shirt and the tennis-ball machine but also the metal racquet. In 2015, animated by the same quest for innovation, Lacoste launches the LT12, a hybrid racket born from the combination of wood (70%) and graphite (30%). Entirely made by a French craftsman based in Albertville, each racquet takes five hours to produce.
The LT12 racquet, produced as a limited edition of 650 numbered pieces, will be available from April 2015 at the price of 550€.

Lacoste LT12 collection

To accompany the launch of the LT12, Lacoste has designed a capsule combining tradition and technology. The collection includes shirts and footwear but also a tennis bag, a backpack, a watch and sunglasses. Click to enlarge the pictures below:

Tennis Buzz was invited to attend the launch event last Thursday in Paris, in presence of two prestigious guests: 3-time Roland Garros champion Gustavo Kuerten and PSG football player David Luiz. Enjoy the pictures below.
