To mark its first broadcast of the Paralympics, Channel 4 is launching its biggest ever marketing campaign with a ‘roadblock’ premiere of a 90-second film showcasing the abilities and unique stories of Great Britain’s leading Paralympians.

The German opening ceremony outfits designed by Bogner: pink for Barbie and blue for Ken….

The parade outfits consist of zippered jackets – bright pink weatherproof shells for the ladies and the same in baby blue for the men – paired with white chinos and white shirts and accessorized with a lightweight pink or blue plaid scarf.

The German athletes’ competition wear and casual wear will be provided, as it has been in the past, by another German company: adidas.

Rafael Nadal, who was due to carry the Spanish flag at the opening ceremony, pulled out of the Olympics citing knees injury:

Today is one of the saddest days of my career.
Perhaps one of the most special moments was to be Spain’s flagbearer in the opening ceremony for the Games in London, so you can imagine how difficult it has been making this decision.

Even worse than the Spanish Olympic kit, but by the same brand: Bosco Sport.
